Senior Agronomist Kenya and Uganda
Senior Agronomist Kenya and Uganda
The Senior Agronomist will be instrumental in taking Yara and
our customer base forward in the region.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support
in developing the strategy for the region
- Manage
and supervise the Agronomy team
- Manage
trial programs and organize field days and exhibitons
- Develop
and implement crop programs for key segments
- Support
the commercial team on customer needs
- Train
customer sales teams on Yara products and competences
- Produce
marketing materials for the region
Profile
- Masters
Degree in Agronomy; post-graduate studies appreciated
- Minimum
5 years working experience
- Extensive
agricultural knowledge in fertilization, sales background appreciated
- Computer
literate, at least be proficient in Windows and MS office Suite
- Enthusiastic
approach and willingness to learn
- Ability
to travel extensively within and outside of Kenya
- Excellent
communication and listening skills; good interpersonal relationship skills
- Fluency
in English and Kiswahili
