Objective of the position
Terre des Hommes Netherlands prevents child exploitation, removes children from exploitative situations and ensures these children can develop themselves in a safe environment.

Qualification, Knowledge and experience
- At
least a minimum of 5 years experience in development work as a senior
staff member
- Knowledge
of development cooperation up to University level.
- Knowledge
and experience in programme cycle management in an international
organisation.
- Knowledge
of project management within the East African context
- Verbal
and written skills in the relevant foreign languages.
- Knowledge
of the mission, objectives, structure, theme, sector and regional plans
and requirements for Terre des Hommes programmes.
- Clarity
of expression for drafting regional! country plans.
- Clarity
of expression for representing Terre des Hommes’ interests in the
countries concerned.
- Social
skills for managing relationships with project partners and other
stakeholders Social skills for active participation in a team and for
further improvement of team performance
This position requires 70% travelling within the East Africa
region.

Terre des Hommes Netherlands offers the selected candidate a competitive package of secondary benefits entailing a starting monthly gross salary of about €2,000 depending on relevant qualifications and experiences.
