The Partnerships Coordinator serves as the Institutional Strengthening Liaison between the project, APHIAPlus and other collaborating agencies at the level of project implementation.

S/he will be responsible for the overall coordination of
FANIKISHA interventions with other entities implementing programs at the
community level, ensuring that formal relationships are established and that
partnership commitments are met in compliance with the project objectives, MSH
and donor requirements.

Potential candidate should have at least five (5) years of
professional experience in project management of medium to large-scale
development projects that involve multiple implementing partners, and
demonstrated successful engagement with governmental and non-governmental
stakeholders, preferably in Kenya, with an advanced graduate degree in a
related field of study, such as public health and project planning and
management.

He/she should have strong attention to detail and
follow-through, demonstrated experience in managing multiple responsibilities
simultaneously within expected timeframes, working knowledge of the Kenyan
public health and civil society sectors and contexts, and good knowledge of the
APHIAPlus and/or other USAID-funded community health projects in Kenya is
highly desirable.
Leadership, Management and Governance (LMG) Project

Mombasa, Nakuru, Kakamega, Isiolo or Embu – LMS - Kenya Project
The Leadership, Management and Governance (LMG) Project Advisor will collaborate with the Kenya AIDS, Population and Health Integrated Assistance plus Project (APHIAplus) to strengthen APHIAplus and Health Sector LMG capacity within one of the five zones in which APHIAplus has a presence (Coast/Nairobi, Central/ Eastern, Western/Nyanza, Rift Valley and Northern Arid Lands).

managing skills among health sector managers; build skills in systems
management, including, but not limited to human resources, finance, and
communications;

reinforce supervision and mentoring skills and process
improvement at the district level; improve planning skills and oversight of the
planning process;

and strengthen governance structures and roles in the health
sector.
·
Potential candidate need to poses a minimum of a master’s level
education in public health, international development, organizational
development, public administration, management, social sciences or a related
field.
·
In addition have a minimum of 5 years overall work experience
with a minimum of 3 years of experience in capacity development, program
management, and health systems strengthening Knowledge and experience in
management and health systems capacity development and monitoring and
supervision in Kenya.

He / she needs to be willing to relocate to the specified work
location (Mombasa, Nakuru, Kakamega, Isiolo or Embu) if not already located
there.

Senior Project Advisor (LMG) – LMS –Kenya
project

The Senior Project Advisor for LMG will work with five LMG
Project Advisors based in the zones and APHIAPlus staff to develop leading and
managing skills among health sector managers;

He / she will supervise the zonal-level LMG Project Advisors and
serve as the LMG Project Advisor for Nairobi, splitting his/her time between
the LMS/Kenya and APHIAPlus Nairobi offices.

As a result of the LMS/Kenya–APHIAPlus collaboration, it is
expected that managers at all levels of the health system will have
strengthened leadership, management, and governance knowledge and skills to
effectively manage their programs and facilities to achieve greater health
outcomes in a changing health system environment.

Potential candidate should poses a minimum of a master’s level
education in public health, international development, organizational
development, public administration, management, social sciences or a related
field.

He /she needs to have minimum 5 years of experience in capacity
development, program management and health systems strengthening Knowledge of
and experience in leadership, management and/or governance capacity building in
Kenya desirable.

In addition he /she needs to have proven experience of providing
technical assistance to public health programs or projects.
·
Demonstrate organizational, managerial and supervisory skills
and abilities;
·
sound judgment, and high ethical standards;
·
flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
