Job Vacancy: Sales Executive – Landscaping and Garden Maintenance
Responsible to: Managing Director and Landscape Architect
Duties: The Sales Executive will work under the directive of the Landscape Architect to bring in new business, working with achievable targets
Key Tasks

Acquisition
and development of the business

Maintenance
and growth of the existing customer base
·
Providing solutions and offering customized services to clients
where necessary
·
Maintenance
of the company’s corporate image
·
Growth of Sales territory and meeting revenue targets
Qualification & Experience
·
1+ year service or product sales experience.
·
A relevant degree or diploma from a recognized
university/college.
·
Working knowledge of the landscaping business would be an added
advantage.

Activities will include among other:
·
Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers
via meetings, telephone calls and emails
·
Visiting potential customers to prospect for new business
·
Prepare proposals and quotations
·
Acting as a contact between the company and its existing and
potential markets
·
Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales
·
Gathering market and customer information
·
Representing the organization at trade exhibitions, events and
demonstrations
·
Negotiating variations in price, delivery and specifications
with managers
·
Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing
special promotions
·
Reviewing own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed
targets
·
Gaining a clear understanding of customers’ businesses and
requirements
·
Making accurate, rapid cost calculations.
