Job Vacancy: Sales Executive – Landscaping and Garden Maintenance
Responsible to: Managing Director and Landscape Architect
Duties: The Sales Executive will work under the directive of the Landscape Architect to bring in new business, working with achievable targets
Key Tasks
·          Identifying new markets and business opportunities within the logistics chain
·          Acquisition and development of the business
·          Maintenance and growth of the existing customer base
·         Providing solutions and offering customized services to clients where necessary
·          Maintenance of the company’s corporate image
·         Growth of Sales territory and meeting revenue targets
Qualification & Experience
·         1+ year service or product sales experience.
·         A relevant degree or diploma from a recognized university/college.
·         Working knowledge of the landscaping business would be an added advantage.

Activities will include among other:
·         Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers via meetings, telephone calls and emails
·         Visiting potential customers to prospect for new business
·         Prepare proposals and quotations
·         Acting as a contact between the company and its existing and potential markets
·         Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales
·         Gathering market and customer information
·         Representing the organization at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
·         Negotiating variations in price, delivery and specifications with managers
·         Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions
·         Reviewing own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets
·         Gaining a clear understanding of customers’ businesses and requirements
·         Making accurate, rapid cost calculations.
