Description:
Nuru International Kenya is a reputable organization with a mission of ending extreme poverty among poor communities of rural Kenya. With programs in agriculture, education, microfinance, and water and sanitation, Nuru’s Healthcare Program aims to reduce under 5 mortality in a sustainable and scalable way.

We train Field Officers to conduct home visits to help families learn how to prevent diseases. We are looking for a Training Manager to fill the vacant position in Kuria West District and report to the Healthcare Program Leader.

Responsibilities:


·                     Facilitate training for Field Officers using the Healthcare curriculum Officers on diseases, how to assess a household, how to find barriers to practicing healthy behaviors, how to advise the family how to change their behaviors, and how to use tracking and reference materials.
·                     Assess trainees’ learning
·                     Adapt curriculum based on needs
·                     Organize trainings in future areas
·                     Develop curriculum for refresher trainings
Qualifications:
·                     Male or female aged 18 years and above
·                     In possession of KCSE certificate with mean grade of C- and above
·                     Kenyan citizen in possession of the National Identification Card
·                     Fluent in both English and Kiswahili languages
·                     Trained in facilitation and training techniques
·                     At least 2 years training experience based on job description above
·                     Experience working effectively in a team setting
