of Treasury Middle Office.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and supervising a highly motivated team, the head of treasury middle office will ensure that there is a robust risk control management framework to cover Treasury Risk, Market Risk, Liquidity Risk and Credit Risk and that these are adequately mitigated.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and supervising a highly motivated team, the head of treasury middle office will ensure that there is a robust risk control management framework to cover Treasury Risk, Market Risk, Liquidity Risk and Credit Risk and that these are adequately mitigated.
* Championing, implementing and managing Middle Office risk control framework;
* Monitoring local market developments for changes in procedures/ reporting requirements and sharing of risk management best practice;
* Ensuring control and compliance with MOM standards, audit requirements, policies and procedures;
* Assisting in developing systems, technology-driven internal user guides for Treasury and managing any change initiatives that impact the Middle Office function;
* Ensuring effective performance management, development and succession planning, training and monitoring the team of treasury risk systems;
* Assisting in reducing operational risk in the Treasury Front and Back Office and attending ALCO meetings.
Qualifications & Experience
Candidates should have:
* A business related university degree (B.Com, Econ etc)
* A minimum of five years experience in Middle Office /Treasury function with adequate systems development exposure to support Middle Office function;
* ACI accreditation and CPA (K)/ ACCA qualification; + Practical knowledge of Treasury risk management systems, operational processes, market risk methodologies & tools and Treasury products
* Good communication and project management skills, with strong personality and ability to work independently without supervision.
