Supply Manager
Basic Function
Manage the petroleum products supply chain planning process, including forecasting, procurement of inventory to maintain budgeted inventory turns and fill rates for the regional market in a dynamic marketing environment which also includes own and third party storage locations and order fulfillment.

Supply Manager
Basic Function
Manage the petroleum products supply chain planning process, including forecasting, procurement of inventory to maintain budgeted inventory turns and fill rates for the regional market in a dynamic marketing environment which also includes own and third party storage locations and order fulfillment.
- Develop,
document and execute a regional comprehensive logistics and distribution
strategy that will drive optimal customer service and profitability.
- Optimize
the supply activities by providing crude or refined petroleum products to
the right locations, at the right times, at the lowest possible cost,
safely and incident-free.
- Coordinate
entire planning process, including procurement, refining, storage,
transfers, inventory control, distribution and logistics.
- Drive
operational excellence and sharing of best practices across the business
in order to reduce cost to serve on an ongoing basis
- Oversee
the purchasing of petroleum products required based on planned demand from
Supply Chain Planning Module and inputs from marketing
- Custodianship
and reconciliation of petroleum products inventories at company and third
party locations
- Inventory
invoice processing and costing
- Maintain
good relationships with all stakeholders active in the supply chain of
petroleum products to ensure unhampered flow of petroleum products.
Qualifications
Education: University Degree (accounting, economics, sciences) or an equivalent
Proficiency in MS Office Applications
Minimum Experience: 3 years’ experience in inventory management, procurement, logistics and/or distribution. Good working knowledge of an ERP
Personal Attributes: High degree of integrity and professional responsibility
Skills: Good planning and organizational skills with adaptability and ability to work under strict deadlines. Exceptional analytical and problem solving abilities
Accountant
Basic Function
Perform accounting and budgetary work and other financially related tasks as required by Management
Specific Duties
Education: University Degree (accounting, economics, sciences) or an equivalent
Proficiency in MS Office Applications
Minimum Experience: 3 years’ experience in inventory management, procurement, logistics and/or distribution. Good working knowledge of an ERP
Personal Attributes: High degree of integrity and professional responsibility
Skills: Good planning and organizational skills with adaptability and ability to work under strict deadlines. Exceptional analytical and problem solving abilities
Accountant
Basic Function
Perform accounting and budgetary work and other financially related tasks as required by Management
Specific Duties
- Ensures
that all funds, physical assets, and other company property are appropriately
safeguarded and administered; operates within the approved budget.
- Accounting
and tracking of petroleum products inventories and transactions
- Monthly
closing and preparation of management accounts
- Prepare
reconciliations and analysis of accounts and conduct internal audits
- Prepare
bank reconciliations and apply principles of accounting in analyzing
financial information in preparing monthly internal reports.
- Ensure
that all finances are properly administered and monitored, including
credit control.
- Review
reports and analyze projections of revenue and profit against actual
figures, budgeted expenses against final totals, and suggest methods of
improving the planning process as appropriate.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting or equivalent. Minimum CPA Part 2. Proficiency in MS Office Applications
Minimum Experience: 3 years’ experience in stocks, debtors, fixed assets, management accounts and reconciliation of key ledger accounts. Good working knowledge of an ERP
Personal Attributes: Must be honest and reliable
Skills: Good planning and organizational skills and ability to work under strict deadlines. Exceptional analytical and problem solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
