Our client, a major producer and exporter of raw, processed and value added agricultural produce is looking to hire a Sales Supervisor reporting to the Sales Manager. The main responsibility for the role is to lead the sales team in the coast region to increase sales volume and maximizing market share.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The main responsibilities in this role include:
Heading the sales team.
Setting of targets and making sure that they are met with the budgeted profit margins.
Identifying new regions that the company’s products can be introduced.
Making sure that the company products are distributed in relevant stores.
Monitoring product performance of the sales team.
Monitor and evaluate competitor activity, and provide market information and intelligence.*Heading the sales team.

Ensuring that the sales team maintains a clean debtor ledger.
Protect and develop the existing client base through continuous relationship building and customer services programmes.
Enhance customer satisfaction by making sure that customers are satisfied with the service offered to them by the sales team
Document, report and discuss execution of plans, sales and margin analysis and overall productivity with the Sales Manager.
Position Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
A degree or diploma in sales and marketing.
Basic accounting knowledge (CPA part II), stores management and vehicle management.
5 years selling experience in a busy FMCG company with 3 years’ work experience at the coast region of which 2 years should have been working as a supervisor.
Strong proficiency in MS office applications especially Excel and Power point
Strong degree of self-motivation and drive, high ethical standards, honesty, values, principles and integrity.
Good reporting and communication skills.
Ability to work with minimum supervision.
A team player with the ability work and communicate in a culturally diverse environment
Remuneration: The starting salary for this position will be KSh 60,000 gross per month, plus benefits including medical cover, pension, company car and commission.
