Risk and Compliance Manager

A medium sized risk and financial services institution based in Nairobi Kenya is looking for a suitable candidate to fill in the job of Risk and Compliance Manager

Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for effective mitigation of internal and external risk through identifying, evaluating and recommending controls and procedures to reduce or eliminate such possible risk.

Risk And Compliance Manager Essential Academic/Professional Qualifications

Business Degree in Marketing, Insurance, Finance or Business administration or any other relevant Degree
Post Graduate qualification in Insurance is an added advantage
Certificate of proficiency in Insurance

Job  Experience

A minimum of 7 years experience

Knowledge in Insurance Auditing, Underwriting or Marketing
Experience in different Business Sectors
Work experience with various systems such as ERP or AIMS

Good communication skills
Good Interpersonal Skills
Good IT and spreadsheet skills
High level of integrity, professionalism and attention to detail
High levels of confidentiality
Accuracy of work and ability to meet deadlines
