Insurance Brokerage General Manager Kenya Jobs.

A recently established insurance brokerage company in Kenya  is seeking to recruit a General Manager who shall be responsible for the general control, direction and operation of the company.
Since this position entails a shareholding offer as a Director of the company, the board is interested in discussing the position with highly entrepreneurial persons meeting the following minimum qualifications.
Academic Qualifications
University degree in a relevant subject in Commerce/ Business Administration.
Professional insurance qualification i.e. ACII or equivalent

Technical Competencies and Experience Insurance Job Requirements

Extent of professional experience in business management, with a particular emphasis on insurance and related areas

Ability in working in teams within a multi-disciplinary environment;
Experience with networking and business development activities,

Selection criteria for Kenyans

Relevance and quality of work experience
Relevance of insurance market analytical skills and knowledge of insurance concepts and principles;
Leadership, networking and coordination skills;
Fluent in spoken and written English
Good presentation and communication skills.
