JOB DESCRIPTION FOR SECURITY OFFICERS.
RESPONSIBILITIES.
Perform routine security assessments to ensure safety of Staff and company assets.
Investigate and prepare reports on incidents/accidents.
Ensure proper documentation and authorization of goods leaving the premises.
COMPETENCES.
Professionalism:
2.1.a. Good basic skills in security specialization to be able to recognize and evaluate the seriousness of threats and potential dangers.
2.1.b. Well developed analytical skills.
2.1.c A self starter who can work with minimum supervision..
Planning and organization:
2.2.1 Good organization and coordination skills to plan and execute actions in response to security needs.
communication:

2.3.1 Good communication skills capable of training security guards and staff on security and safety.
Technology:
Good computer skills and knowledge of associated electronic devices Judgment :
A good judgment to deal with emergency situations e.g fire, break-in or natural disasters.
Teamwork:
2.6.1 Good interpersonal skills, ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with staff, contractors, suppliers and other security related organs.
3. EDUCATION:
Minimum form iv level of education and military or police training.
4. WORK EXPERIENCE:
4.1. Must have progressively responsible experience preferably related to military or police of 8 years.
