Our client in Kenya, a leading telecom distributor based in Nairobi Kenya, with businesses operations in Kenya, Tanzania and DRC offering mobile phones to telecom operators, telecom or electronics stores is looking to hire a Sales Representatives reporting to the Sales Manager. The main responsibility for the role is to increase sales volume and maximise market share.
KEY SALES JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The main responsibilities in this role include:
* Achievement of targeted sales and budgeted profit margins.
* Making sure that the company products are distributed in relevant retail shops.
* Ensuring that products are well rotated using the first in, first out principle.
* Monitoring product performance in the shops.
* Monitor and evaluate competitor activity, and provide market information and intelligence.** Making sure that the company products are distributed in relevant retail shops.

* Maintaining a clean debtor ledger.
* Taking responsibility for the accurate, timely and complete preparation of all quotations.
* Protect and develop the existing client base through continuous relationship building and customer services programmes.
* Enhance customer satisfaction by liaising with customers to solve problems
* Document, report and discuss execution of plans, sales and margin analysis and overall productivity with the Sales Manager.
SALES REP JOB REQUIREMENTS:
The position is a very hands-on role, requiring a highly motivated, independent, strong, and assertive Sales Executive who has an outstanding record of sales achievement and who will hit the ground running. Our client is looking for enthusiastic individuals who are motivated by job satisfaction and the desire to achieve outstanding results.
The successful candidate will be a degree or higher diploma holder in Sales and Marketing. He/she will have good working knowledge of the mobile phone industry (cash, credit, instalments) and demonstrate knowledge of sales processes, including the ability to accurately meet customers’ needs. The successful candidate will be highly numerate, computer literate, have excellent communication and reporting skills and possess a clean driver’s license.
The salary for this position is Ksh 30,000 gross.
