We are a busy family run business and restaurant in Mombasa town, currently exploring opportunities in both online (internet) and offline industries. We are looking for an experienced business development, marketing and sales expert/manager to join their team in promoting the brand; establishing high standards to the current business; identifying vertical/horizontal expansion opportunities and executing against agreed plans.
The responsible person needs to be confident and strong-minded to be able to direct, plan, organise and control multiple tasks and in addition manage semi-skilled staff comfortably.
Job Duties will include:
· Identifying and executing promotional and marketing activities, specifically to tourists in Mombasa.
· Developing in conjunction with the owners of the business, any relevant market material and sending them appropriately
· Execute any market research and supporting execution plans, against the owners plan to vertically and horizontally expand the brand into new business territories
· Proactively talk to relevant industry experts to identify go-to-market strategy and opportunities to promote new brand concepts/ideas.
· Capable of generating multiple leads for both online and offline businesses. Capitalising on the leads and generating business/revenue leading to higher commissions/returns.
The right Kenyan person will have / be:
· Experience in Sales and Marketing – minimum of 3+years if no marketing or sales qualification is held
· Ideal candidate would already bring a number of strong industry contacts that can immediately lead to results

· Knowledge of Digital Marketing
· Confident and willing to work in multiple areas of the business
· Must be articulate, excellent phone manner and have excellent English and Swahili grammar – written and verbal

· Adaptable, flexible, enthusiastic and an excellent thinker of new ideas
· Willing to travel as required by the business
· Extremely flexible and hard working as this would be fundamental to generate additional business leading to higher returns/commissions.

Job Package:
· The package on offer would be an average base package with a very lucrative commission based model with possibility to earn over 100% in commission. Currently based salary between 12k – 20k, with limitless commission potential.
