The Kenya Transport Association (the ‘KTA’), an Association of road transporters registered under the Societies Act, with a membership of over 200 transport companies seeks to represent, advice and support road transporters and to instill safety, discipline and professionalism in trucking and to provide a single, authoritative voice on issues of importance regarding road transport.

The KTA is looking for a Marketing Officer and the role entails the following:
1. Marketing and Business Development of the K.T.A;
2. Increasing the number of Members of the K.T.A through Marketing;
3. Carry out research into areas affecting the Transport Industry;
4. Maintaining the Member’s Database and ensuring that the information contained therein is complete, accurate and current;
5. Proposing new Business Development Ideas and executing the Business Development Ideas upon receiving the required authority to proceed;
6. Carrying out Administrative Tasks when required to do so;
7. Assisting in the preparation of the K.T.A Magazine (prior experience is an added advantage); and
8. Any other duties assigned by the Executive Officer and/or the Executive Committee of the K.T.A from time to time.
