The bank specializes in offering banking and financial services to SME & Business clients and is now embarking on a new phase of development aimed at making the business even stronger.

Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will have overall responsibility for the achievement of the Bank's HR objectives and alignment to corporate strategy as well as advising the management on HR matters.

He/she will also be responsible for providing guidance and oversight to the HR managers In the bank's subsidiaries.

The successful candidate will be expected to develop and implement an effective strategy for HR management and development in support of corporate objectives, review and communicate changes in the HR strategy, policies and procedures, oversee the bank's training function and promote good employee relations in the bank

S/he will also coordinate manpower planning, recruitment, selection and induction of staff to ensure adequate staffing levels at all times.

Qualifications and other requirements:-

    * Applications are invited from Kenyan citizens who hold a relevant university degree, preferably at master's level and/or a Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management or equivalent qualification.

In addition, applicants should have:-

    * A minimum of 7 years human resource management experience acquired in organizations undergoing significant change and/or expansion
    * The proven ability to manage change and effectively lead by example in developing and implementing robust HR systems and processes
    * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    * A key selection factor will be the candidate's proven ability to build a cohesive, highly motivated team
