Reporting to the Chief executive Officer, the individual will be responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction to the operations of the company, drive the development and growth of the business in a sustainable and profitable manner such as to ensure the company maintains a healthy lending portfolio, and ensure compliance with the organizational policies, and regulatory requirements.Further, the person will be expected to nurture an environment for enhanced productivity, effective working relationships, and acceptable discipline levels within the function while maintaining effective working relations between business support staff and the field staff.
Qualifications and Experience
This is a senior management position, and the successful candidate should be in possession of a Masters degree in Business, Economics or Marketing plus a Diploma in microfinance or banking.
He/she must possess excellent communication skills, strong leadership and good business management skills, among others. He/she should have at least seven (7) years relevant work experience with hands on experience in the micro-finance/banking industry.
