Job Title: AC Technician
Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AC Technician with 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in installing, servicing, and repairing HVAC systems.
The ideal candidate will possess in-depth technical knowledge, a strong work ethic, and the ability to independently manage complex HVAC tasks in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
Key Responsibilities
Install, service, and repair various HVAC systems, including split units, package units, VRF/VRV systems, and chillers.
Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance as per schedules and service standards.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and perform troubleshooting with minimal supervision.
Monitor refrigerant levels and recharge systems when necessary.
Ensure proper calibration and functioning of thermostats, sensors, and control systems.
Perform ductwork, piping, insulation, and system layout installations.
Maintain accurate service records and complete job reports for each assignment.
Adhere to safety protocols and environmental regulations, including proper refrigerant handling.
Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians if required.
Coordinate with clients and other departments for effective job completion.
Qualifications
Technical Diploma/ITI Certification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent.
Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant field experience.
Sound knowledge of HVAC, electrical and mechanical components.
Proficiency in using HVAC diagnostic tools and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, wiring schematics, and manuals.
Familiarity with industry safety standards and local compliance codes.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Physically fit and able to work in all kinds of environments (rooftops, confined spaces, etc).
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
EPA Certification or local equivalent for refrigerant handling.
Experience working with BMS (Building Management Systems) and smart HVAC controls
