Job Title: Water Treatment Technician

Locations: Ota - Ogun and Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Purpose of Job

  • To manage and operate the water treatment systems to ensure a consistent supply of high-quality water for production processes, while complying with environmental regulations and maintaining efficient and safe operations.

Principal Accountabilties

  • Operates and monitors water treatment systems, including filtration, chemical dosing, and purification processes to ensure a continuous and reliable supply of high-quality water for production processes.

  • Conduct regular sampling and testing of water quality parameters to verify that water meets required standards and specifications.

  • Performs routine maintenance and minor repairs on water treatment equipment to maintain optimal performance and prevent equipment failures.

  • Maintain accurate logs of water treatment operations, including test results, and maintenance activities to support compliance and facilitate continuous improvement.

  • Identify and resolve issues with water treatment systems promptly to minimize downtime and enhance continuous operation.

Job Requirements
Education:

  • Minimum requirement: Minimum of an ND in a Science-related field.

Added advantage
Experience:

  • Minimum requirement: 0 - 2 years of experience in a lab or as a WTP operator.
