Job Title: Business Development Officer (Oil & Gas Sector)

About the Role
A reputable company in the Oil & Gas industry is seeking a highly driven and autonomous Business Development Officer to lead client acquisition and drive strategic partnerships within the upstream and midstream sectors.
The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the industry, a solid network of key decision-makers, and a proven ability to execute growth initiatives independently.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Oil & Gas sector
Establish and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders and key decision-makers
Drive revenue growth through strategic sales and partnership initiatives
Conduct market analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
Prepare proposals, negotiate deals, and close contracts
Represent the company at industry events and meetings.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (advanced degrees are a plus)
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within the Oil & Gas sector
Strong professional network within the upstream and/or midstream value chain
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Must be based in Port Harcourt.
Salary
N500,000 - N800,000 monthly.
