Description
- Our client is in
need of a Senior Engineer / Project Manager who would be responsible for
overseeing engineering teams in Ilorin, Kwara State.
- He /she would be
responsible formanaging workflow and monitoring progress toward goals, and
ensuring that teams complete all projects on time and within budget.
Key
Responsibilities
- Responsible for
the construction of 11 units of one storey houses and ancillary buildings.
- Ensure that work
is carried out according to the approved drawings, specifications, and
quality standards and agreed schedule.
- Responsible for
the timely delivery of the project.
- Implement and
monitor quality control measures to ensure that construction work meets
the required standards.
- Very high quality
precision construction is expected.
- Lead the other
members of the team in execution of works.
- Conduct safety
briefings and promote a safe working environment.
- Report on project
status and any deviations from the plan.
- Request
Procurement and delivery of construction materials and equipment in good
time to avoid delays.
- Collaborate with
various stakeholders, including local authorities, regulatory bodies, and
utility providers.
- Propose and
implement solutions to overcome challenges.
- Oversee site
surveying and layout activities to ensure accurate positioning of
structures and elements.
- Plan and manage
site logistics, including the flow of materials, equipment, and personnel.
Key
Requirements
- B.Sc / HND in
Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering COREN certification.
- Minimum of 10
years relevant work experience.
Salary
N100,000 / month.
