Job Title: Hotel Accountant
Location: Awoyaya, Ibeju -Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Duties
- The ideal candidate must have a strong background in accounting understand hotel accounting principles.
- Must be able to prepare Reports with an exceptional knowledge on Budgeting and summaries.
- He/she will work closely with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain financial records, and implement effective financial controls.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements.
- Provide management with regular financial reports.
- Implement and monitor internal financial controls to safeguard assets.
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
- At least 5 years Proven experience as an accountant, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
