Driver Job Vacancy in Kenya

Position Title: Driver
 
Reports To:Administration Manager

Primary Purpose of Position: The Driver will be responsible for the company vehicles and general office administration duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • To do some official errands around Nairobi or any other places where he could be asked to go.
  • Driving Staff to and fro different locations.
  • Keeping Vehicle Clean: body and engine.
  • Arranging for vehicle service in consultation with the supervisor on regular bases when it is due. This will include minor and major services.
  • Regular checking of vehicle serviceability. In case of any detected problems, the problem should be reported to the supervisor or any other person who could authorize repairs.
  • Keeping daily vehicle log sheet up-to-date.
  • Office management duties that may arise.
  • Collection of items, parcels, letter or other items either from particular super markets, clients or from the post office.
  • Payment for water, electricity and email service bills.
  • Making purchases; stationery, utility items etc.
  • Doing any other work which may be assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
Key Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • Minimum requirement of KCSE Certificate
  • Must possess a Clean Valid driving license
  • Must hold a valid certificate of good conduct
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Eager to learn
  • Positive attitude
  • 3 -5 Years of driving experience
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers
  • Must be able to function well as part of a team
