Consultancy invites suitably qualified persons to support in a Value Chain
Market Research Study in five selected counties of Nairobi, Mombasa, Nandi,
Kisumu and Embu under the Agricultural Sector Development Support Programme
(ASDSP).
Position: Research Assistant
Reference

Duration of
Contract: 3 Months
Reporting to: Consultancy
Manager.
The duties
and responsibilities will include:
- Attending
training sessions
- Field
visits for data collection
- Electronic
data collection and transmission using tablet or smart phone
- Any
other duty assigned by the Consultancy Manager
Job Specification
- Minimum
Diploma in Agriculture / Horticulture / Environmental Science / Home
Economics / Business Administration / Engineering, Agri-business
Management / Economics / Development Studies / Resource Management or
equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Possess
basic knowledge in computer applications including use of smart phones.
- Must
have demonstrable experience in data collection.
- Must
be able to Communicate in both English and Kiswahili
- Possess
good knowledge of one of the target counties and have been a resident for
a while.
