Key Accounts
Manager
Reporting into the County Sales and Marketing Manager, you will lead the growth and development of our Modern Trade, including all aspects of the commercial relationship, profitability, administration, and the strategic direction of the same.
About the Role
- As
Key Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for driving and owning the
implementation of Key Accounts sales management strategies within the
Nairobi Bottlers Limited territory.
- Your
role will be to manage relationships and monitor performance through
face-to-face meetings and service calls covering in-depth business reviews
to strengthen relationship and identify new opportunities.
- You
will be experienced in looking after a corporate client portfolio, with a
proven track record for delivery of growth targets and strategic client
initiatives.
- Collaborating
with internal and external stakeholders to deploy category vision tailored
to the Modern Trade needs, you’ll live and breathe the customer/channel
strategy internally and externally to enable us to execute with
excellence.
The Person
- Preferably
educated to Degree level, you’ve got a proven FMCG track record at a
leadership level, underpinned by high-level skills in client relationship
management or other clientfacing functions.
- Having
developed polished Sales and Account Management skills, you will have the
ability to network, build and maintain supportive relationships with key
business contacts.
- The
ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels is imperative
as is the ability to influence others to a desired outcome.
- Your
Financial Management skills should be on point and a “can-do” approach to
work tasks and team goals will be vital to the success of this role.
- You
will be highly driven, with strong desire to succeed and have a passion
for excellence in customer service and customer management.
Sales & Marketing Capability Manager
We are seeking to recruit a qualified, passionate, innovative, tactical strategic leader with excellent communication skills and sound learning and development acumen to head Capability Development for the Sales & Marketing Team.
The Role
- Reporting
to the Country Sales & Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for
providing leadership and seeking to maintain a disciplined effective and
consumer led learning and development environment within the Sales &
Marketing team through aligned and focused capability development.
- Your
role will be to provide technical and functional support around trade
marketing and route to market initiatives to drive sales volume.
- You
will select and advise on optimal learning and delivery methods to
maximize learning and sustainability of knowledge, and drive and implement
a visible culture of learning within the sales and marketing team, through
structured management of routines, processes and performance reviews.
The Person
- You
have a minimum of a Bachelors degree in a business related field, with a
minimum of 6 years experience in sales and marketing in an FMCG
environment.
- You
possess a wealth of experience in capability development and have good
knowledge of distribution selling models, route to market and trade
marketing.
Area Retail Manager
As Area Retail Manager, you will manage, motivate and lead retail teams in their area to achieve set out volume and market share targets, build and develop outstanding collaborative relationships, monitor route coverage, manage sales orders and realize sales opportunities in the retail.
The Role
- Reporting
to the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving the
achievement of set sales targets through brilliant market execution,
coaching and leading of sales representatives.
- Your
role will be to manage trade and outlet execution, monitor route coverage,
drive retail price compliance and maintain quality standards in the retail
with focus on stock rotation and package quality.
- You
will be experienced in implementation of promotions and other trade
initiatives, with a proven track record of driving horizontal expansion
through new outlet opening.
The Person
- This
is the ideal opportunity for a graduate with a minimum of 4 years
experience in sales that would perhaps like to progress their career with

- Previous
experience in an FMCG environment would be very advantageous and is
preferable for this role.

Area Distributor Manager
Join Nairobi Bottlers as an Area Distributor Manager and you’ll have a chance to put your sales skills to the test and build solid, lasting and profitable partnerships with your clients.
The Role
- Reporting
to the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for a number of
distributors which you will be tasked with developing and driving their
sustained growth.
- Your
role will be to carry out order generation and inventory optimization by
ensuring appropriate stock levels at all times.
- You
will track and maintain the Distributor’s financial health and accounts
receivables and implement the Distributor Operating Standards.
- Your
key targets will centre on volume, gross profit and sustained
growth.
- We’ll
look to you to develop repeat business, protect and grow existing revenue
and safeguard profit margins.
The Person
- You
will be a graduate from an FMCG background, with good understanding of
revenue and market management and have previous proven success in a
similar role.
- You
must possess strong negotiation, communication, relationship management,
analytical, and leadership skills and have a passion to succeed.
Alternative Beverages (Stills) Manager
Our Stills portfolio currently comprises of juice, water and energy drinks. You will lead the growth and development of our Stills Business, including all aspects of the commercial relationship, profitability, administration, and the strategic direction of the same.
The Role
- Reporting
to the Country Sales & Marketing Manager, you shall be responsible for
the strategic management of the Stills business to achieve volume and
market share growth, that will drive distribution capability
efficiencies and expansion benchmarks within the Stills category.
- You
will be highly experienced in category management and developing
initiatives that deliver differentiated value to the company.
- You
will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to assess
potential opportunities with customers in order to shape propositions, plans
and solutions that drive profitable growth for both the category and
organization at large.
The Person
- Preferably
educated to Degree level, you’ve got a proven FMCG track record at a
leadership level, underpinned by high-level skills in Category Management.
- The
ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels is imperative
as is the ability to influence others to a desired outcome.
