Senior Internal Auditor Job in Nairobi Kenya

Vacancy: Senior Internal Auditor

Background: Under the management of the Secretary General and the guidance of the Audit and Risk Committee, the Risk Management and Audit Department provides independent high quality internal audit and consulting service.

The Role: Based in the Africa Zone Office (Nairobi), but with frequent travel to the field.  He/She will assist the Head of the Risk Management and Audit in supporting  management to improve the Federation Secretariat’s operations.

Requirements:

Education: University degree and an internationally recognised accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA) plus an Internal Audit qualification (PIIA, MIIA, CIA) or equivalent

Experience & Skills
  • At least five years recent professional experience in Internal Auditing and Risk management.
  • Good understanding of the principles and application of good corporate governance, business and operational risk management, and effective internal controls.
  • Good working knowledge of systems audit procedures and techniques.
  • IT literate with skills in systems and data analysis using Computer Assisted Audit Techniques (CAAT).
  • Fluently spoken and written English. Good command of French is preferred.
