General Manager -
Transportation and Logistics
Ref: GMTL-014
- Develop and manage effective & efficient fleet management systems
- Assist in budget creation and management, setting of productivity targets and ensure effective cost management strategies are implemented
- Develop and operationize all necessary policies and procedures
- Oversee transport & logistics teams across the company’s stations/sites
- Work with maintenance teams to reduce breakdowns and downtime
- Ensure drivers and operators are properly recruited, trained and monitored
Required Qualifications and Competencies
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering- motor or a related field
- 10 years Transport & Logistics experience in a fast-paced, commercial environment 3 management level
- Experience in the construction sector a plus
- Experience in various Fleet Management Systems required
- Computer literate , with adequate experience in Microsoft office suite
- Excellent ICT, analytical,problem-solving,communication, interpersonal and team skills.
