Médecins du
Monde (MdM) is an international humanitarian organization whose mission is to
provide medical care for the most vulnerable populations, the world over,
including France.
In Kenya, MdM is
running a comprehensive Harm Reduction Program targeting people who use drugs
within the Nairobi slums.
General
Description of the Role: The Harm Reduction (HR) Data clerk will, with the
Program Team, ensure the following responsibilities:
Key Duties
- Data entry: checks quality, security and confidentiality of data;
- Data analysis for reporting;
- Data reporting;
- Secretary for the drop-in-centre: welcomes and records visitors, stationery stock management, administrative support in organization of trainings
Candidate Profile:
- Degree /diploma in related area such as computer science;
- Excellent computer skills;
- Report writing would be an asset;
- Working experience with most at risk populations (MARPs) and respect confidentiality of information / would be an asset;
- Ability to work quickly, under pressure and with short deadlines;
- Ability to prioritize and manage own tasks;
- Must demonstrate flexibility to adapt to changing requirements;
- Ability to communicate effectively with informants and contacts from widely-varied organizations and agencies.
