Training Centres
Co-ordinator
To oversee the
overall operations of Two (2) Development Training and Conference Centers based
near Thika Town with 2,000 visitors per year.
Professional
Qualifications
·
Diploma/Bachelor’s in Hotel Conference Management or any other
hospitality field from a recognized institution.
·
10 years experience in a hospitality oriented organization.
·
Strong leadership, personal organization and communication
skills.
·
Ability to write reports and strict deadlines.
·
Ability to develop and implement new packages in the hospital
industry.
·
Proficiency in Microsoft office Suite & Excel.
Budget Control Officer
To oversee
Project budget Plans, Sectoral Plans and Preparation of Monthly and Quarterly
Financial Reports.
Professional
Qualifications
·
Bachelor of Commerce
·
Proficiency in Word, Excel and QuickBooks packages.
·
CPA K Training or its equivalent and above.
·
6 years experience in accounting work with a bias to budgets,
budgeting and budget controls.
·
Experience in Personnel matters will be an added advantage.
·
Be between 30-40 years of age.
Transport Logistic
Officer
To be responsible
of developing a transport unit by converting it from a service to an income
generation enterprise.
Professional
Qualifications
·
10 years and above experience in running a successful transport
commercial enterprise
·
Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering.
·
10 years and above working in a busy garage for vehicles and
motorbikes.
·
Diploma/Degree in business/ Administration an added advantage
·
Experience in motor vehicle insurance procedures
·
Experience in handling vehicle/motorbike running emergencies in
distance locations
Water &
Sanitation Field Co-ordinator
To implement and
develop a Water and Sanitation Programme.
Professional
Qualifications
1. Diploma /BSc
in Water or Agriculture Engineering.
2. 7 years
experience working in a community integrated water & sanitation programme.
3. Practical
skills in designing and execution of community based/led Water and Sanitation
projects.
This includes but
not limited to:
a)
Hydrogeological Surveys and Borehole Drilling.
b) Water Pipeline
designing.
c) Water Pans,
Dam design and Construction.
Public Health Field
Training Coordinator
To co-ordinate
Water, Sanitation and Hygiene activities in our WASH Project.
Professional
Qualifications
·
Diploma/Degree in Public Health or Community Health.
·
At least 7 years field experience in training communities in
Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Projects.
·
Proven ability to generate reports using Computer packages.
·
Proven knowledge and practical experience in working with a
project using the CLTS concept.
·
Have worked in the field using a motor-cycle and is in
possession of a valid riding license.
Small Holder
Agriculture and Food Marketing Co-ordinator
To co-ordinate
and facilitate support activities among the Small Holder Agriculture Processing
and Marketing Programme which incorporates Self Endowed Rural Savings and
Credit Schemes.
Professional
Qualifications
·
Diploma/Degree in General Agriculture, Agriculture Economics/
Agribusiness
·
At least 7 years field experience in Agriculture training at
Community level.
·
Experience in mobilizing rural communities in Processing,
Packaging, Marketing of agricultural produce.
·
Knowledge in community based savings and credit schemes.
·
Strong analytical and problem solving skills on issues related
to Small Holder Marketing.
·
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and manage
multiple tasks.
Renewable Energy
Development Programme Officer
To initiate a
Renewable Energy sub-sector within SACDEP for institutional and community
projects.
Professional
Qualifications
·
Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Eng, Agricultural Eng, or Natural
Resource Management.
·
Special bias in Researching on and developing Renewable Energy
based equipment as Energy Saving Stoves, Solar Systems, Animal traction
equipment, Biogas structures, and Wind mills.
·
At least Ten years’ experience in implementing Renewable Energy
or Natural Resource Management Initiatives - Projects, Production workshops,
Community Based Projects etc.
·
Knowledge in working within project based environments an added
advantage e.g. project designing and evaluation, fundraising and peoples’
development initiatives.
·
Ability to ride a motorbike and in possession of a valid riding
license.
