Finance Director Job in Kenya

Our client is a Multinational company in the Telecommunications Industry.

They are looking to recruit a Finance Director.

Position Overview:

The role will develop and implement a strategy for financial management, assuring long term sustainability of the organization by ensuring a sound financial framework, and by leading all revenue growth initiatives.

Responsibilities:

·                     Advise the Executive team and board of directors on financial strategy and its impact on company objectives

·                     Assist the board in sourcing prospects for future income by analyzing financial trends and any gaps in the market or potential opportunities

·                     Participate in financial and strategic planning

·                     Develop a sound budgeting and budgetary control framework

·                     Provide oversight over statutory reporting including annual accounts and financial statements

·                     Provide leadership to the Finance team and ensure timely and effective performance in the division

·                     Supervisory responsibility for accounting procedures

·                     Overall responsibility for the financial health of the organization

Requirements:

·                     Undergraduate degree with professional qualifications in Finance or Accounting 

·                     Member of ICPAK

·                     MBA or Masters in Finance will be an added advantage

·                     At least 10 years experience, 3 of which should be at Senior Management level

·                     Computer proficiency with experience in accounting and ERP systems

·                     Strong analytical and communication skills

·                     Commercially astute, articulate, technically strong, dynamic, insightful and influential leader with the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels
