Export Processing
Zones Authority is a State Corporation established through an Act of Parliament
Cap 517 of the laws of Kenya to oversee all aspects of development of Export
Processing Zones (EPZs) in Kenya.
The Authority has
the following vacant positions:-
Sewerage Maintenance
Technicians
Re-Advertisement
2 Positions
Job Ref: EPZA/SMT/18/11/2013
The incumbents
shall report to the Water and Sewerage Manager for the following;
·
Maintaining sewerage infrastructure;
·
Ensuring timely connection of new customers;
·
Monitoring, evaluating, monitoring and reporting of treatment
and disposal of waste;
·
Record keeping of all users and ensuring that they remit
payment;
·
Monitoring, evaluating and reporting of discharge of waste into
the sewerage system
·
Monitoring, evaluating and reporting on the functioning of
sewerage treatment ponds;
·
Periodically picking samples for analysis and reporting on the
results
·
Any other lawful duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Minimum
Requirements
·
Must have KSCE D- and above
·
Possession of a certificate in water engineering or equivalent
will be an added advantage
·
At least two years’ experience in relevant field will be an
added advantage
·
Must have proficiency in computer packages
·
Possession of motorcycle driving license will be an added advantage
·
Must have client orientation and customer care skills
·
Must have a high degree of integrity and dependability
·
Must have the ability to work under pressure and consistently
meet strict deadlines
·
Must have good interpersonal and communication skills

The positions are
permanent and pensionable and competitive remuneration package will be offered
