Position: Marketing Supervisor for
Jaggery (Sukari Nguru) and Related Products
Location: Kwale County
Qualifications and Experience
·
A Bachelor’s degree or Dip in Sales and Marketing or a related
field.
·
At least 2 years experience in Sales and Marketing in FMCGs with
at least 2 years as a marketing supervisor.
·
Proven relationship building skills.
·
Proven creativity and innovation.
·
Experience in marketing of sugar is an added advantage
Duties and responsibilities
·
Undertake new-product development and market research on jaggery
and related products.
·
Develop and execute marketing plans and projects for existing
and new products.
·
Constantly provide strategies for increasing the products market
share countrywide.
·
Manage and train the marketing team.
Salary
A monthly pay of Kshs. 25,000-30,000 (Gross pay), depending on
experience and qualifications
Position: Jaggery Plant Production
Supervisor
Location: Kwale County
Reporting To: Manager
Scope: To ensure that all activities concerning product quality,
safety, cost and service and all prerequisites that go into fulfillment of
these attributes for all the products supplied to customers are safeguarded and
maintained within the jaggery plant facility.
Qualifications and Experience
·
Degree or diploma in food technology or related field
·
Two years experience working in a jaggery plant and related
products.
Duties and responsibilities:
·
Organize for fast production start-ups before actual production
begins and ensure that all hygiene practices are safeguarded.
·
Ensure that all operatives work at all times at such rates as
will eventually result into attaining set targets.
·
Ensure that the Quality of products meet the stated customer
requirements.
·
Monitor production process and ensure that the orders are
achieved at the prescribed time to facilitate easy flow towards dispatch
·
Ensure complete separation of batches of cane, including
maintaining the records of rejects and wastes, and the concomitant labeling of
the product that comes from each batch.
·
Prepare the budget.
·
Ensure health and safety of workers and the entire facility.
·
Any other duties as may arise from time to time allocated by the
manager.
Salary
A monthly pay of Kshs. 25,000-30,000 (Gross pay), depending on
experience and qualifications
