Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Planning, coordinating and
controlling all technical and facilities management activities.
- Ensure compliance to all maintenance
related issues as well as staff and contractors.
- Management of facilities’ budget and
suppliers’ payments.
- Ensure effective maintenance of the
building and its equipment.
- Coordination and supervision of all
maintenance of installed equipment
- Oversee security for the building
- Manage all lease agreements.
Requirement for appointment
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business
Management or other relevant discipline from a reputable university.
- A minimum of 8 years’ experience, 3
of which should be at a Management level.
- Knowledge in Security Management and
real estate management.
- Excellent experience and knowledge
of Occupational Safety and Health Act and on site experience
- Superior organizational,
interpersonal, negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrate competence in IT

- Develop, implement and review an
internal communication strategy to meet KENAOs goals
- Develop and manage various internal
communication channels such as video, intranet, face-to-face, emails,
newsletters, training programs, intranet, new media channels, management
briefs, employee forums and blogs.
- Draft speeches for top management
for internal audiences
- Provide Communications and Public
Relations support for ongoing cultural, organizational change programmes
and internal branding aspects
- Collaborate with leadership across
KENAO to deliver consistent and effective messages that support the
strategic plan
- Manage and coordinator all KENAOs
corporate events
- Manage all protocol and complaint
management aspects of KENAO
Requirement for appointment
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in
Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or other relevant discipline
and membership of good standing in a relevant professional organization.
- Post graduate education is an added
advantage.
- A minimum of 5 years experience, 2
of which should be at a Senior level in Internal Communications;
- Superior analytical, interpersonal,
conflict resolution, negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written
communication skills

External PR and Communications Assistant Manager

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Develop, maintain and review the
external communications strategy
- Responsible for development of
communications programs to support key stakeholders and media relations
efforts to give KENAO the required positioning and visibility. This will
include stakeholders’ management, managing media interviews and engagement
for top management.
- Produce proactive and authoritative
press releases, briefs, case studies, articles and speeches that drive the
corporate objectives of KENAO.
- Strategic issues management and
monitoring of media coverage and developing mitigating measures
- Develop and implement outreach and
advocacy programmes to enhance good governance and accountability among
targeted publics
- Develop , manage and drive the
crisis communication component on behalf of KENAO
- Drive, champion and position KENAO’s
Brand attributes to all external publics through appropriate communication
channels
- Manage all web-based communication
that include website and appropriate social media platforms.
Requirement for appointment
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in
Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or other relevant discipline
and membership of good standing in a relevant professional organization.
- Post graduate education will be an
added advantage.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience, 2
of which should be at a Senior level in External PR & communications,
busy media house;
- Superior analytical, interpersonal,
conflict resolution, negotiation and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent verbal and written
communication skills;
- Ability to produce high quality
press writing and other communication within strict deadlines;
- Ability to synthesize complex
technical reports and translate them to simple narratives for public
consumption;
- Demonstrate competence in IT.
