The Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining the OTB Africa Limited client’s applications utilizing in depth Symfony framework, PHP, Graphic Design and MySQL skills.

The Developer will be required to undergo a probationary period as per our company Human Resource Policy.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Building and maintenance of core Symfony framework based applications.
  • To design and develop relational database systems and their web and wap interfaces.
  • To monitor web server and site technical performance

Skills / Attributes Required
  • Diploma or Degree in IT, Software, Computer Science or related areas Symfony, PHP and MySQL programming experience
  • Good knowledge of Symfony framework
  • Deep knowledge of PHP
  • MySQL development
  • Linux and Apache administration
  • CSS/XHTML/JavaScript development
  • Good knowledge of the Linux command line essential.
  • Have a passion for web standards
  • Be self motivated and enjoy working in a team
  • Have excellent communication skills
