of cut-flowers for a well known retailer in the UK.
Supply Chain Coordinator – Cut Flowers
Job
Description:
- Order
management: Creating and managing daily and weekly supplier orders and
communicating any supply /demand issues to the Procurement Manager.
- Liaise with
selected suppliers on supply situation on a daily basis communicating the
same to planning team (shortages/extras).
- Upload and
update expected daily quantities in ERP server with latest supplier
expected volumes with the assistance of administrators.
- Verify packing
lists and invoices from suppliers for correctness and update ERP server
with actual loadings.
- Daily
communication with planners, shipping agents and suppliers on expected
quantity.
- Manage control
measures to ensure mistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies are highlighted,
addressed and resolved.
- Monitor and
measure daily supplier performance.
Requirements
- A bachelor
degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum 4 years
experience in the floriculture industry.
- Exposure/experience
in use of ERP systems, excel and database programs.
- Should have
excellent interpersonal and communication skills, oral and written.
- Experience in
supply & demand forecasting.
- Attention to
detail, dynamism and team player.
- Ability to work
independently and meet deadlines.
- Applicants
