Job Objective:


The Project Head will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of our client’s mobile money training operations and Content Development in a secondary role when reporting to the Sales Practice Head, this will be key as a strategy and play a vital role in providing backing in supporting internal and partner advocacy capacity building and providing, in this role as a Project Head, it is an inherently collaborative process. 


It will consist of the following basic roles and responsibilities:

Pivotal Role of the Project Head:
  • Creator – the candidate will be responsible for creating and editing the client’s content.   
  • Editor – The candidate will be responsible for tuning the content message and the style of delivery, including translation and localization as per the OpCo needs.
  • Publisher – The candidate is responsible for releasing the content for use.
  • Administrator – The candidate is responsible for managing access permissions to folders and files, usually accomplished by assigning access rights to user and roles.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Creating courses and quizzes using customized the client’s articulated templates.
  • Content development of question and answer learning courses.
  • Working with spreadsheet reports within PPT’s, creating courses, uploading content to the clients (create users, create courses, draw reports, amend questions/quizzes, add questions/quizzes, import and export quizzes, upload videos and study material, edit quizzes, create categories with quizzes).
  • Assisting with trainer queries telephonically and via email.
  • Create content strategy on business objectives and customer needs.
  • Identify projects’ overall content requirements and prospective content sources.
  • Develop creative solutions for content presentation, management, workflow and maintenance.
  • Assure content conforms to the client’s optimization best practices.
  • Create content development best practices with stakeholders.
  • Handle stakeholder expectations and ensure projects timely completion.
  • Function as central contact point for content owners within organization.
  • Suggest and create strategies and tactical plans as per project implemented.
  • Create the learning curve and path for the client pan Africa
  • Will liaison with group and do all meetings and update them on regular basis
  • Will also liaison with the client’s directors at OPCO level
  • He/ She will do conceals with RCH/TL for understanding of ground realities on our client.
  • He/she will be on field for couple of days in Nairobi/ Kenya to understand the Anglo function
  • He/ She once in six months will visit Franco OPCO to understand our clients’ ground realities
  • Follow and enforce guidelines and policies on projects being worked on.
  • Adherence to all processes as applicable to a Trainer the Trainer when booting process is due.
 Skills and Certification:
  • Ability to understand and convey the features, attributes and benefits of products and services into instructional the client content material
  • Strong grasp on the pricing of the product (Capable of implementing pricing models that balance value to customer & profitability to the client)
  • Ability to recommend successful add on services and optimal portfolio mix
  • Awareness of the competitive landscape in this product category & the ability to present the client's strengths vs. competitors
  • Ability to understand and convey the Features, Attributes and Benefits of Technical Trainings on all new products launched by the client
  • Understanding of the basic technology behind the product
  • Strong grasp on the pricing of the products and services in the market and competitor offerings
  • Capable of implementing pricing models that balance value to customer & profitability to the client)
  • Project head will conduct *Steering Committee Council* presentation with Group and also with selected OPCOs as he is a shared dedicated resource. (Steering Committees Council are committees setup to set agendas and schedules of business propositions for the company)
  • Delivering accurate booting and auditing of AM Trainers and performing post follow-ups in the likely hood of an inconclusive audit report based on the content execution.
  • Conduct due diligence market surveys and also assess and analyze competition to align with the client Business accordingly.
  • Designing and creating all Anglophone content and sharing the same to be translated to the French content lead translator.
Experience:
  • 8-9 years’ experience in the Telecom Industry and M Commerce.  Added advantage would be if he/she has worked in FMCG during his/her career
  • Should be well versed in telecom and have exposure to M Commerce / banking products on mobile
