(HENNET) is a network of CSOs, NGOs, FBOs and other thematic networks operating
in Kenya’s health sector.
Position
profile:
In order to increase
capacity to deliver on its mandate, HENNET is seeking to urgently recruit an
accountant; the accountant will have the overall responsibility of managing
both financial and administrative
functions of HENNET.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and
operationalize a sound Financial Management system for HENNET
- Provide general
accounting and financial support including donor financial reporting.
- Implement and
monitor financial compliance with the organizations financial manual.
- Implement
financial decisions of the management and appraise the same on the
progress.
- Manage HENNET
financial resources to provide maximum productivity.
- Manage the
administrative functions of HENNET
Required
qualifications and experience:
Ideal candidates must
have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor of
Commerce degree in Accounting and/or Business Administration
- Professional
qualifications in Accounting (CPA (K) and/or ACCA finalist)
- Three (3) years
work experience preferably in an NGO; experience in managing USAID, EU and
GAVI funding is desirable
