Member of the County Assembly Service Board (1 Post)
Section 12 of the County Government Act No. 17of 2012 establishes the County Assembly Service Board, for each County Assembly for purposes of providing services and facilities to ensure the efficient functioning of the County Assembly amongst other functions:-
- The speaker of
the County Assembly as the Chairperson.
- The leader of
the majority party or a member of the County Assembly deputed by him or
her, as the Vice-Chairperson.
- The leader of
the minority party or a member of the County Assembly deputed by him or
her, and
- One person
resident in the county, appointed by County Assembly from among persons
who have knowledge and experience in public affairs, but who is not a
member of the County Assembly.
Pursuant to section12 of the County Government Act, the County
Assembly of Nyeri invites applications from suitably qualified persons who are
residents in Nyeri County and who have knowledge and experience in public
affairs, but who are not members of County Assembly, to fill in the position
above provided of member of the County Assembly Service Board.
