A religious grassroots organization in Nyahururu, working with
vulnerable groups of people in the communities (children in need, persons with
disabilities, persons affected or infected with HIV/AIDS, persons recovering
from alcohol and drug addictions, survivors of violence and human rights
violations) wishes to recruit:
Physiotherapists (Interns)
The interns will remain in the organization for one year during which they will gain practical insights on the different aspects of Community Based Rehabilitation Programme in a very challenging workplace.
Academic qualifications:
- A Diploma in
physiotherapy (at least one year since graduation)
- Basic computer
proficiency
- Report writing
skills
- Training and
facilitation skills
- Language
proficiency (English & Kiswahili)
- Proven
participation in community activities
- Prior experience
in working with children with disability will be an added advantage
Personal attributes:
- Willing and
highly motivated to work for the marginalized
- High level of
commitment, responsibility and self initiative
- A team player
- Age: between
25-35 years
