Vacancy: Member of the County Assembly Service Board

The person will join a Team the County assembly service board
that will comprise of the speaker as the chairperson, Leader of Majority Party,
leader of minority party.
Functions
The Functions of the Embu County Assembly Service Board will
entail;
(i) Constituting offices in the Embu County Assembly service
(ii) Providing services and facilities to ensure the efficient
and effective functioning of county Assembly
(iii) appointing and supervising office holders
(iv) Preparing annual estimates of expenditure of the county
assembly service and submitting them to county assembly for approval
(v) Promoting ideals of parliamentary democracy
(vi) Performing other functions necessary for the welfare of the
members and staff of the county assembly
Requirements for Appointment
An Applicant must:
(i) be a resident of county and should not a member of the
County Assembly; and
(ii) have knowledge and experience in public affairs, but who is
not a member of the County Assembly.
