Allfruit (EPZ) Ltd, an affiliate of Industrial Promotion
Services (K) Ltd is a large Fruit processing Firm with specialization in Mango
and Passion processing is looking for a qualified Crop
Production Agronomist to
develop and manage the Yellow Passion Fruit (YPF), out grower’s schemes in
various parts of the country, with the key objective of developing the raw
materials supply chain.
- Identify
the regions where YPF would do well.
- Mobilization
of farmers for the development of the YPF in the identified regions.
- Provide
technical/Agronomical support to the farmers.
- Manage
a team of supervisors and field technical assistants.
- Coordinate
the harvest / collection and supply of the fruits to the factory.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Experience
in the growing of horticulture food crop; experience in growing yellow
passion fruit will be an added advantage.
- Excellent
organizational skills and the ability to multi task in a fast paced
environment.
- Self
motivated and capable of working independently.
- Brilliant
interpersonal, leadership and communication skills.
- Good
working knowledge of Kiswahili
Education /Experience
- Bachelors
Degree in Agriculture or Horticulture. Post graduate qualifications will
be an added advantage.
- Minimum
of 7 Years experience.
