Position: Regional
Sales Manager
Reporting to:National Sales Manager
Company profile:Our Client is
the world's leading Multinational Company dealing in the manufacturing of
consumer based products with over 16 countries within the East African region
Lead the Regional Sales Operations network i.e. direct/indirect
and the Field Sales team to deliver agreed objectives within the assigned
Region
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure
achievement of agreed targets/KPIs (NPS, RIG, TS, CCS, MOGEs, DPA,
Numerical & Weighted Distribution for the Region.
- Update
and measure performances of Field Sales organisation structure within the
region against defined KPI’s
- Implement,
follow up and update Regional Field Sales Plan based on the cycle plan.
Provide quality feedback/input into the ICP process for the next planning
period
- Actively
participate within ICP process, support definition of Field Sales Strategy
to implement Channel Category and Customer Plans.
- Ensure
adherence to all company principles and policies including NMLP, TS, local
trade policy , local trade terms, IC3 , safety and local regulations
- Collaborate
with peers RSMs to share best practices within Field Sales, Distributor
Management etc, liaise with Marketing, CCSD, Customer team and Supply
Chain drive regional field sales related initiatives
- Ensure
development of careers, succession plans, development of direct reports
Required Qualifications:
- Degree
in a Sales or marketing related field
- Higher
National Diploma in Sales and marketing
- More
than 5 years in Marketing or Sales, and over this period has successfully
delivered on KPIs, especially top and bottom line business results
- Leads
regional field sale function
- Understands
all sales functions i.e. CCSD, customer, field sales
- Has
demonstrated success in a number of diverse sales roles
- Demonstrated
ability to motivate and develop people
