position:
Tax Seniors
Tax seniors work under the direct supervision of tax managers.
Tax Seniors
Tax seniors work under the direct supervision of tax managers.
Their work involves providing direct and indirect tax consulting
and advisory services to clients under the direct supervision of the tax
manager.
The key responsibilities of the position-holder include:
- Handling tax
assignments including audits, investigations, transfer pricing, health
checks and due diligences.
- Handling
technical queries and providing opinions on tax, VAT and customs and
excise matters.
- Developing
technical material.
- Monitoring and
following up client tax issues with the revenue authority.
Qualifications
- CPA (K), CA,
ACCA or equivalent professional qualification
- University
degree in business, legal or economic disciplines
- Minimum of two
years experience in a similar position
- Thorough
knowledge of local tax laws and practice
- Sound
analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
- Self disciplined
and organized
