Longhorn Kenya Limited is a leading book publisher with
operations in the Eastern African region.
The Company wishes to recruit an intern in the Internal Audit
department.
- Assist in
assessment of enterprise-wide risk management framework to ensure implementation
of recommendations and improvement in areas that are exposed.
- Assist in
improving policies and procedures in conjunction with the departments
concerned.
- Verify assets
and liabilities to confirm their existence and means to safeguard them.
- Assist in
maintenance of ISO 9001; 2008 Quality Management System.
- Identify control
weaknesses in business operations and make recommendations to mitigate
risk exposures.
Qualifying Criteria
- Degree in
Business related area
- CPA II
- At least 1 year
experience in audit or accounting
