Howard
Humphreys (EA) Ltd, a Consulting Engineering firm with permanent offices in
both Kenya and Tanzania is seeking to recruit suitably qualified staff for the
following positions in its Nairobi office:
1. Socio Economist
Applicants should have a
Bachelor’s degree in Sociology or equivalent from a recognized University with
3-5 years working experience in carrying out Socio-economic studies for
infrastructure projects.
They should also have
experience in preparation and implementation of Resettlement Action
Plans.
Experience in carrying out
EIA and Environmental audits and registration with NEMA as a lead or
associate expert will be an added advantage.
2. Environmentalist
Applicants should be
registered with NEMA as Lead Experts with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental
Science or equivalent from a recognized University.
A Master’s Degree will be
an added advantage.
Applicants should have 7-10
years’ experience in carrying out Environmental Impact Assessments and
Environmental Audits on infrastructure projects.
Applicants should provide
full details of previous experience and computer proficiency in relevant
software packages.
They should be team players
with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
