Location: Kisumu
Position Duties and Responsibilities
- Create
database templates and tabulate program data
- Oversee
data collection and entry
- Provide
troubleshooting assistance for mobile phone data collection
- Provide
Quality Analysis and Quality Control of data
- Generate
monthly and quarterly reports for the HOPE Study
- Maintain
a clean log frame of data queries and provide details of resolution
- Ensure
source documents are safeguarded and that optimal data quality is
maintained.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s
of Science in bio/statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum
of one year experience with data management in a research setting
- Training
in research ethics
Desired Qualities
- Previous
experience in a similar position
- Ability
to create database templates and tabulate program data
- Familiarity
with smart phone data collection and Open Data Kit (ODK)
- Data
management experience in STATA or a similar program
Expectations:
Full-time position
Position length is 21 months, provided good performance
Yearly contracts offered based on period in financial year
Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience
Based in Kisumu, with travel throughout the surrounding area as
needed
