Our client is a faith based Non Governmental Organization that
brings hope to women who are infected or affected by HIV/AIDS from poor
communities by empowering and equipping them to meet their spiritual, social,
physical, emotional, economic and family needs in a sustainable way.
We are seeking to recruit an exceptional professional who is a mature
Christian; supportive of the calling and vision of organization, highly
motivated to fill the position of clinical officer;Roles and responsibilities.
The person is responsible for quality medical care to patient at the health centre.
Quality care and treatment services
- Ensure excellent
standards and quality of clinical Care to all patients and effective
referral and linkages with secondary and tertiary health facilities
- Diagnose and
institute clinical procedures which are consistent with WHO and national
guidelines and observe legal and statutory requirements in all situations.
- Implement PITC
services
- Mentor and
supervise the other members of the clinical team.
Standard Operating procedures
- Ensure that the
Clinical SOPs are fully implemented by all clinical staff with routine
review and updates.
- Participate in
implementation of quality control and quality assurance programme with the
clinical care team.
Continuous Medical Education forums
Leads in health education forum for the clinic by routinely planning and implementing CMEs and other health education forums at the facility.
Reporting
Ensure correct, confidential and timely updating of patient data/records and actively participate in the preparation of weekly, monthly and annual reports with the health centre team.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will be Licensed by the clinical officers council ,have a minimum of diploma/ higher diploma in Clinical medicine and surgery from a recognized institution, with at least 3.5 years experience including CCC services.
The candidate should be 32 years and above, have good communication and presentation skills, strong leadership skills, must possess strong analytical and report writing skills.
