Role & Responsibilities:
The Grants
Coordinator provides
full cycle grants and contracts management support and oversight.
Responsibilities include:
- Support
proposal development process to ensure compliance with corporate and donor
policies and procedures including reviewing Requests for
Applications/Requests for Proposals(RFA/RFPs), preparing questions for
donors, providing Grants and Contracts guidance throughout the whole
process, preparing costs, indirect cost calculations, ensuring corporate
compliance, reviewing budgets, providing guidance on certifications,
preparing and responding to Corporate, Foundation and Individual Major
Gifts Donor solicitations.
- Provide
full cycle oversight to grants and contracts including reviewing and
approving all award and sub-award documents, ensuring compliance with
donor regulations, reviewing requests related to procurement regulations,
key personnel changes, travel regulations. Provide on-site technical
assistance to field offices when necessary; ensure accurate reporting,
billing and payments.
- Prepare,
present, and submit all required and recommended program and financial
reports and audits to donors.
- Develop
and implement systems to increase efficiency and accuracy of gathering
relevant program and financial data from the field.
- Assist
in the development, updating and maintenance of corporate policies and
procedures and deliver grants and contracts trainings to staff .
Requirements:
- Bachelor's
degree in relevant field required; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum
three years of experience in grants design, administration, management,
policies, procedures, and oversight
- Experience
working with multilateral and bilateral (USAID, EuropeAID, AfDB, etc)
policies and procedures for financial and grants management
- Experience
working with US federal regulations (A-122, A-110, 22 CFR 226, AIDAR, FAR)
- Experience
with contracts programs and contracts management
- Experience
with small-scale civil work projects preferred
- Experience
with monitoring security risks and planning and executing mitigating
measures
- Able
to multi-task, problem solve, strong analytical skills, team player
- Demonstrated
leadership, integrity. and versatility
- Excellent
writing and presentation skills in English required;
- Proven
ability to develop and use databases, spreadsheets, and computing tools.
