The University invites applications for the position of Dean,
School of Medicine who will also support teaching and research as a Senior
Lecturer, Associate Professor or Professor.
Applicants should posses the following Qualifications:
- At
least a Masters Degree in a relevant area of specialization in Medicine.
- At
least 5 years of University teaching experience.
- Ability
to build teamwork.
- Commitment
to advancing medicine through Medical Care, teaching and research.
Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinate all activities related to:
- Establishing
a School of Medicine.
- Liaising
with the relevant regulatory bodies.
- Preparing
and submit ing proposals on academic resources to senate.
- Coordinating
selection and admission of students to accredited programmes.
- Advising
the University Management Board on matters related to staffing.
The terms of service for the posts include a competitive remuneration
ranging from Kshs. 400,000- 800,000,
