Business Development Officer Job in Kenya (Ladies Only)

We are seeking to recruit a results-oriented and proactive team player to fill the position of Business Development OfficerPosition. {ASAP} Ladies Only

Responsibilities and Qualifications
 
Reporting directly to the Management, the successful candidate will be responsible for overall creation of business,  and
  • To use innovative and creative channels to identify potential client organizations in the region and obtain contact information for client base.
  • Initiate contact with potential client organization and effectively articulate the firms training programmes and how it  would benefit in their organization.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication channels with key decision makers in client organizations and potential clients.
  • Managing route plans and customer calls by ensuring market coverage within plan.
  • Identifying potential opportunities and negotiating for incremental business in the Maintenance Industry.
  • Coordinating implementation of merchandising and promotional activities of the company.
  • Collecting and collating market intelligence/research on competitor activities and other market trends for competitive advantage
Qualifications
  • Minimum Higher Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution; a certification in sales and marketing will be an added advantage.
  • At least 2 years comparable experience in marketing of Engineering Services and Creation of a Magnitude Business.( experience in a sales function in areas related to Maintenance Industry will Automatically be added Advantage)
  • Strong interpersonal, communication skills AND Negotiation skills
  • High customer orientation.
  • Clean Driving License
  • Proactive, confident, energetic and ability to work under pressure;
  • Demonstrated leadership and managerial skills coupled with exceptional planning and organisation skills.
