Emergency Aid is seeking qualified service providers and consultants (who reside in the
Region) in the following fields: WASH , Nutrition, Statistician / Data analyst
, Shelter, Livestock, Security, Needs assessment, Gender, Protection, Emergency
food security & livelihood, Monitoring & Evaluation, Do no Harm, Impact
assessment, Education, Architecture, Translators: German to English; English to
French, DRR and IT.
Furthermore,
Diakonie seeks to employ a fulltime PME Technical Assistant (max gross salary of KSH 200,000 plus

Main tasks
- Support partners
and staff in carrying out needs assessments, and measurement of indicators
, including the development of relevant tools.
- Assist with
processing and analysis of primary data
- Development of
ToRs for evaluations, impact assessments and other special studies
- Provide or
coordinate training for staff and partners according to needs.
Requirements
- Experience in
the humanitarian sector.
- Masters Degree
holder preferably in Anthropology, Sociology or any other Social Science
discipline.
- Knowledge of
qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- Familiarity with
data processing and analysis software, e.g. SPSS.
- Capacity
building and training experience.
- Experience with
supporting partner organizations in emergency interventions is an asset.
